For over 40 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and families, both typically and atypically developing, helping them grow, learn, and thrive. My career has included roles as an Early Interventionist as a Special Needs Instructor covering all areas of development for early childhood, as well as a child care provider, and educator at a parenting center. In every position, my goal has been the same: to make life better for children and the families who love them.
For the past 16+ years, I worked as a private provider of Special Instruction for developmentally delayed children and their caregivers in my home county in Pennsylvania. This itinerant role took me into homes, daycares, and communities, where I supported parents, grandparents, foster families, educators, and other caregivers. Along the way, I have consistently maintained over 30 hours of continuing education each year to ensure that I provide the most current and effective strategies.
Recently, I retired from Early Intervention to spend more time with my family, especially my first grandchild. But my passion for helping families didn’t retire with me. I became a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant so I can continue to serve families, offering personalized guidance to create healthy, sustainable sleep routines for their children.
Whether your little one is struggling with falling asleep independently, waking frequently at night, taking only short catnaps, or resisting any kind of sleep schedule, I can help. Together, we’ll develop a plan that works for your child and your family, so everyone can enjoy restorative, healthy sleep.
My motivation has always been simple: “To help little ones and their families with big and little developments.”
